Getting ready for the Nor-am and I am so stoked. I have been training my butt off and I am ready for my Race. YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

nationals

I have been training really hard for nationals and I have gotten a lot better. I have been training for Boarder cross, alpine events, and slope style. I am so excited and I hope it will be as fun as it was last year.

Past Few Weeks

 I  have had so much fun over the past 3 or 4 weeks. I have gone to the expression session, where I improved a ton. I went to a alpine race, I got first in the Giant slalom race and I got second in the slalom race. Also I went to a slope style race last weekend I did not do to good in that. I got 6th, but that shows me what I have to work on to win. 

         

New Boards

Today I just rode my new racing board from Donek. I really really liked it. It is really power full. I was riding it on pure ice and I could still maneuver it. I have not rode my Donek freestyle board yet but I am really excited to. This weekend I am going to do a slope style competition and I have been training hard.

Boarder cross

                    Last weekend I had a boarder cross competition and I had tons of fun. In both races I got second place. My group was stacked. One of my races the lead must have changed at least 4 times. I am proud because all of the people in my group are twice the size of me. In time trial I got the First place qualifier every time. My Donek Saber was scary fast and the Hot Rod Race Wax made it even faster. 

Magazine

I got in a magazine, and I am really excited. It was really awesome because there was a half of a page just about me in a really nice magazine. Everybody that bought that magazine saw me in there.

Mountian opening/Race

Mt. Werner is about to open and I am super stoked. It has been dumping snow here in Steamboat, and I am hoping for the first day to be a powder day.I had a race already. I finished 5th in Giant slalom, and 6th in slalom. This means that I have a lot of training to do. There is a lot of opportunity for me to do better.

Ready for season

I am getting ready for the ski season. Dry land training is starting tomorrow and I am ready to work hard.

Boarder Cross+Big Air

I had a lot of fun this week. Yesterday, I did a big air contest. My brother and I were the only young ones. There was a lot of big things going on like back flips and other things. I will post some videos later on. First run I did a 360 and landed it. Second Run I did a 540 and Fell onto my hip. Third run, because my hip hurt I just did a fun thing. Cody got Second and I got First. I won a shirt a hat and a pair of glasses  Now I am in Winter Park and getting ready for the boardercross. The course is fun but a little sketchy. Looking forward to tomorrow!!!

Back on the snow.

Today I got back onto the snow. My back felt great. I had no problem doing it also. It was fun

Better

I have been doing my excercises, and I am feeling alot better. I am so stoked to get back onto the snow tomorow. Although i can only go easy it is going to be a blast. I am going to be competing in next weeks boardercross in Winter Park.

Healing

I have been doing some PT and I am healing fast. The doctors found out that i got a sprained ligament in my back. I hope to snowboard this week but I am going to skip the competition this weekend :"(

I HURT MY BACK!!!

Today I went up on the mountain today and had a lot of fun it was fast and a bluebird day.IT WAS AWESOME!!!! I think I rode a little to long and was pushing it too much. I hit a roller on the side of a cat track and tweaked it a little. I didn't think it was that bad, so I kept on riding. It got worse and worse. Pretty soon I sat down and I couldn't stand up. I went to the hospital and got checked out. I had a sprain in my back. I have to rest but i will be fine in a week or so.
